The Nissan Leaf electric car was the best-selling car model in Norway in June. At the same time, zero-emission cars hold a 25% market share

According to the sectoral organization Opplysningsrådet for Veitrafikken (OFV), 1,152 LEAF models were registered in June, while the total number zero-emission car was 3,973.

Hybrid passenger cars had 36.5% market share in the same month. 23.8% of new passenger cars registered in June had only gasoline engines, while diesel cars only had a market share of only 14.6%.

This is significantly lower than the 25.1% of electric cars accounted for the total of 15,845 newly registered cars.

Electric cars also accounted for a large portion of the traffic in the Oslo area in June. There were all four cars in the morning rush an electric car, which totaled 1.66 million passages of the attack.

– We find that the long-term trend of an increase in the number of electric cars and the decline in the number of diesel cars continues, and it is even more clear in the morning than others times, says economist Magne Liestøl Larsen Fjellinjen.
