Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Frank Del Rio told CNBC on Wednesday he was discouraged by the lack of Covid vaccine warrants by government officials as the delta variant spreads.
“I am so disappointed with government at the local, state, federal level that we have no mandates. What happened to the good old leadership in this country? There is a pandemic going on,” Del Rio said. to CNBC’s Jim Cramer.

Del Rio’s comments come after a federal judge ruled that Norwegian can require passengers to prove they are fully vaccinated against Covid, after the cruise line challenged a Florida law banning the practice.
