Manchester City fell five points behind Liverpool at the top of the table after a 3-2 defeat at Norwich.
Kenny McLean gave Daniel Farke's men a surprise lead before the hosts reached the dream territory, while Todd Cantwell added another.
Sergio Aguero nodded to reduce the deficit in stoppage time in the first half, before Teemu Pukki reached the score at 3-1 shortly after the break.

Player of the month, Pukki rebounded after an abject defense against Manchester City. Pep Guardiola's men could not go back, despite Rodri's shot three minutes from the end, giving them hope.
Jurgen Klopp's players beat Newcastle 3-1 earlier in the day, but City was unable to react and suffered a bad defeat, their series of nine consecutive wins being on.
The champions were met with severe resistance from their home country during the first round, finding it particularly difficult to knock out a hired Norwich. The game was improved further by the home side after 18 minutes when a corner from the right was superbly directed by McLean, who went forward and made his best start to the desperation Ederson.
