In his last interview, Steven Adams dismissed the idea that it was difficult to part with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Steven Adams hilariously dismisses his thoughts of missing OKC Thunder too much

Speaking of trade with New Orleans, Adams said:

“It’s all part of the business, being negotiated and all that. But that’s not really the hardest part. The hardest part is the relationship that is built and then you have to move on. “

“But it’s not like I’m dead or anything, you know I’m going to see them again.” So I mean, it’s good. Yeah, it was a great time at OKC but in terms of coming here it’s just like an exciting thing. Stay with an old school dude.

Adams and the Pelicans kick off their new preseason against Eastern Conference champions Miami Heat at American Airline Arena on December 14.
