Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer for his fifth title at Wimbledon on Sunday. Today, the Serb is also on the verge of surpassing Federer in the historic "Big Titles" standings.
Djokovic saved two match points to beat the champion eight times in an epic final, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 13-12 (3), the first-fifth Establish the tie-break in the history of singles at Wimbledon.
The 32-year-old won his 16th Grand Slam crown and 54th Big Title, a combination of Grand Slam titles, Nitto ATP Finals and ATP Masters 1000.
Federer, the all-time leading Grand Slam champion with 20, still has four more wins than Djokovic, and Switzerland celebrated one more title for the Nitto ATP final (six) than Serbian (five). Djokovic however won five more Masters 1000 titles (33-28), which created the tie between the top of the Big Titles standings.
Even more impressive, the world's No. 1 has the best Big Title conversion rate of anyone. Djokovic wins a big title on about one out of three (3.3) opportunities, better than Rafael Nadal (3.5) and Federer (4.2).
Djokovic is particularly in tears for 12 months. Since July 2018, he has won seven Big Titles titles – four Grand Slam titles and three Masters 1000 titles. In the same period, Federer won a Big Title (2019 in Miami), Nadal Three (2018 in Toronto, 2019 to Rome, 2019 at Roland Garros).

The three players face each other to win the biggest titles of the game, but they also motivate themselves for their achievements.
After the final, Federer, who turns 38 in a few weeks, said he hoped his long career would inspire others. "I hope to give others a chance to believe at 37 that it's not over," he said before laughing. "I gave everything and I always feel good, I stay up. That's good, and I wish the same for the other 37 years. "
Djokovic, who turned 32 in May, said he was one of those people. "Roger really inspires me with his effort at his age," he said.

The two, with Nadal, will compete for Big Titles titles and will be inspired for years to come.
"We grow and evolve while remaining in this game. These two guys [are] probably one of the biggest reasons why I'm still competing at this level.
