After the controversy that took place last year when the Nevada Sports Commission has [NSAC] did not allow Canelo Alvarez to wear the "No Boxing No Life" gloves brand at the request of Gennady Golovkin, the Mexican star will be allowed to use them for the next fight with Daniel Jacobs.

According to Bob Bennett, NSAC Executive Director, Golden Boy President Eric Gomez has provided all the dates, times and events for which gloves have already been used, so that they see no obstacle in approving them .

And beside that, the inspector in charge of the process had them again examined and there was no problem.

Canelo will face Jacobs for the IBF, WBA and WBC middleweight belts on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

"These gloves had already been approved by the Nevada Sports Commission, they were being monitored by the inspector and the (Golden Boy) President, Eric Gómez, gave us the dates, times and events at which these gloves were have been tested and are already approved, "Bennett told ESPN Deportes.

Canelo used that brand of gloves in New York when he defeated Rocky Fielding in December, but was not allowed to use them for his rematch against Golovkin in September.

Bennett also said that referee Tony Weeks will be able to use instant replay technology for the contest.

Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the World Boxing Council, congratulated the NSAC for its decision to use the instant recovery.

"We used the replay in two fights last week, it had already been used to familiarize us [with the technology] and to see the legal approval to put it into effect, based on the need to ensure that the referee has the best decision for the benefit of the fighters, "explained Bennett.
