Nubia has blocked a fan in his latest gaming smartphone

A year after Nubia's announcement of its original Red Magic gaming phone and less than six months after the release of Red Magic 2, the company is coming back with another gaming smartphone called Red Magic 3. The big change for the Third generation Red Magic phones is the cooling system, which combines liquid cooling with an internal 'turbo fan', which, according to Nubia, is a first in the industry.

Cooling has been a hot spot with game-based smartphones in the past. The Razer Phone 2 had the unfortunate habit of warming up under load, while you had to use an external clip fan to actively cool the Asus ROG Phone. In appearance, the integrated fan of Magic 3 should solve both problems.

The phone's specifications also compare favorably to these other gaming handsets. The Magic 3 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. For games in particular, a pair of capacitive shoulder knobs are on the side of the device. Its 5,000 mAh battery will help it run energy-hungry games for longer periods of time, and can charge up to 27W.

On the outside, the Magic 3 is equipped with a single 48-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. The 6.65-inch AMOLED display features FHD + resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and HDR support. Oh, and there is a headphone jack.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 will be available in China from May 3 for 2899 yuan (about $ 430) before being released later in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, where the price has not been announced yet.
