Nubia's Red Magic 3 is a gaming phone with active cooling

You can play games on any smartphone. But for a year or two, we have seen a growing number of smartphones specifically for gamers. Not only do these phones typically have fast processors and lots of RAM, but some have additional features such as 120Hz displays, liquid cooling, RGB light effects, and game controller and other accessories support.

But the Nubia Red Magic 3 This is the first smartphone I know that supports active cooling – there is actually a small fan inside the phone that will help prevent the device from overheating during play.

The phone also has a liquid cooling system, so the fan does not work all the time – just when you need it. It's still a bit odd that at a time when there seems to be a growing number of laptops and desktops without fan, Nubia add a fan to a category of appliances that has not been ventilated from the beginning.

Be that as it may, the phone's "turbo fan" is just one of the things that sets Red Magic 3 apart from most phones.

The smartphone includes a 6.65-inch FHD + AMOLED display with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

You can use two shoulder buttons to trigger actions in games without touching the screen. You can also use the fingerprint sensor located on the back of the phone as the third button.

At the back of the phone you will also find an RGB light strip and POGO pins on one side of the phone that you can use to connect an optional docking station or other accessories.

As for more traditional specs, the phone contains a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage and a 5000mAh battery supporting a fast 27-watt load.

There are front stereo speakers that support 3D audio and DTS: X sound, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a 48MP camera on the back of the phone and a 16MP camera on the front.

Nubia plans to offer the phone worldwide. It should therefore be available in the United States, Canada, the EU and the United Kingdom in May. But it will first be launched in China, where it will go on sale May 3 for about $ 430 and up (for a model of 6 GB / 64 GB).
