Nvidia Announces RTX Studio Laptops for Creators

[ad_1]

Nvidia launched Computex Taipei with a new software-hardware initiative for creators and a wide range of laptops to support it. Nvidia Studio is a set of Nvidia RTX GPUs, SDKs and drivers for GPUs, designed to improve the performance and efficiency of authoring software.

Nvidia indicates that its Studio drivers, which are renamed from existing Creator-Ready drivers, have been tested against software such as Adobe, Epic, Autodesk, Unity and Blackmagic Design. Application developers can use the CUDA-X AI software to automate tasks such as upscaling images or video color matching.

Seven PC makers will announce this week 17 RTX Studio laptops to Computex, including offers from Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, MSI and Razer. Laptops will have options for the 2080, 2070, and 2060 RTX GPUs as well as the Quadro 5000, 4000, and 3000 models of the Nvidia family of workstations.

Nvidia claims that during its testing, an unnamed RTX Studio laptop with a Core i7 processor and a 2080 Max-Q RTX GPU was seven times faster than a high-end MacBook Pro with a Core i9 and AMD's Radeon Pro Vega 20 graphics processor in applications such as Maya and RedCine-X Pro.

We are on the ground at Computex and should be able to bring you details on each of these RTX Studio laptops. Nvidia says prices will start from $ 1,599 and the first models will be available in June.
