"This rule will cover, for the USCIS, nearly 400,000 people a year, whose applications to become legal permanent residents will include a serious analysis of their likelihood of becoming a public office or not," said Ken Cuccinelli, Acting Director of Citizenship. and Immigration Services, announcing the changes of last week.
Under the new rules, the federal government could refuse green cards to legal immigrants using Medicaid, food vouchers, vouchers; expand federal support programs that may disqualify immigrants and focus on immigrant skills rather than family reunification.
