An NYPD sergeant will lose 20 days of vacation for his role in Eric Garner's lethal arrest, sources at the Post told The Post on Wednesday.
Sgt. Kizzy Adonis accepted the sentence in an agreement to plead guilty to a ministry charge for failing to supervise the cop at the time, Daniel Pantaleo, sources said.
An administrative trial was to take place in front of Adonis before the end of the year.
Pantaleo was fired Monday by police commissioner James O'Neill following a trial founding him guilty of official misconduct for putting Garner in a banned choke while arresting him for allegedly selling illegal cigarettes in bulk July 17, 2014.
O'Neill signed the Adonis Advocacy Agreement, sources said.
Adonis was one of two police supervisors who reacted instead of Garner's arrest on Staten Island, and a video on his cell phone shows her nearby as Pantaleo and other police officers fight on the sidewalk with Garner, who moans several times, "I can not breathe!"
Adonis, promoted sergeant less than a month ago, was charged with failing to monitor in January 2016 and having been stripped of her badge and firearm.
She was reinstated on active duty last year.
In his review of the case, O'Neill found that while Adonis's monitoring of Garner's arrest site was "insufficient in some areas", there was no incentive for Pantaleo to apply the rule or delay Garner's medical treatment, said the NYPD.
The Benevolent Sergeants' Association declined to comment prior to the press conference scheduled for Thursday morning.
SBA President Ed Mullins had previously described the disciplinary complaint against Adonis as "bull-t" and "political persecution of anti-police rhetoric".
Garner's mother, Gwen Carr, said she was "outraged and disgusted" and criticized Mayor Bill de Blasio and the NYPD.
"It's shameful that they waited more than five years, after the dismissal of Pantaleo, to get her a bargain so that she only loses a few days of vacation and they want us to accept these crumbs as s 'There was a little justice,' said Carr in a statement issued by the group of activists of United Communities for Police Reform.
"By refusing to schedule a disciplinary trial for Adonis, de Blasio and the NYPD are actively participating in an ongoing camouflage operation because they do not want the public to know how deep, how wide and how the magnitude of the wrongful acts committed in this case. "
A spokeswoman for Mayor Blasio said, "The loss of Eric Garner has been a tragedy for the entire city in mourning. For the first time in five years, people are held responsible and justice is finally done. We hope this will bring a little peace to the Garner family. "
