Sand Springs Police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are investigating a quadruple homicide.
News on 6 learned that investigators were able to obtain a search warrant, so they could enter the house and begin this part of the investigation.
Neighbors and family members were questioned. Investigators said the mother of one of the adult victims inside the home went to see her grandchildren earlier on Saturday and entered a crime scene.
“This is a real tragedy for our community,” said Sand Springs Police Department captain Todd Enzbrenner. “It’s difficult for the family. It’s hard on my officers. It’s hard on the medical staff. It’s difficult for you guys.
Police said the victims were two adults and their two young children. They still don’t have a timeline for what led to the shoot.
This is a developing story.
