Representative William Lacy Clay, MP for D-Mo., Added to the growing democratic criticism of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., slamming her "inappropriate" suggestion that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi , selects the New Yorker and her "squad" freshman because of their race.

"It was such a weak argument to say that she was chosen and that four women of color were chosen by the President," he said.
"This tells you the degree of ignorance of American history compared to what we are as a Democratic caucus.
