The JRPG arrives at Steam in June.

Octopath Traveler, the exclusive JRPG of Square Enix Nintendo Switch, will arrive on PC on June 7th.

This retro style game, critically acclaimed, will be available for purchase via Steam and Square Enix store.

The announcement was made in a blog post now deleted on the Square Enix website, spotted by Gematsu. The blog itself simply lists the already known features of the game, including the eight heroes and the break-centered combat system. The blog does not suggest that there will be special features specific to a PC.

Even without any new features, it's good to see Octopath Traveler free from its exclusivity on the console and be available to new players. The game was released in July 2018 and, at the time of release on PC, it already had a whole year of exclusive Nintendo.

Octopath Traveler will join the extensive PC Square-based JRPG catalog featuring almost all Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger games.
