The Redmi Note 8 series is the next launch that will take place in a tight week of August this year. And while the focus will be on the world's first 64 MPa camera, the Redmi Note 8 could also experience some significant changes. A new teaser shared by Redmi revealed that Note 8 would include a Qualcomm processor instead of the widely used MediaTek Helio G90. In addition, the RedmiBook 14 was officially launched to be launched the same day at the same event.

The standard Note 8 will feature the same Snapdragon processor as the Mi A3, namely the Snapdragon 665 SoC. We previously thought that the MediaTek Helio G90 could be used, but that was not the case. Most other handset specifications are not known. However, a quad-camera setup has also been confirmed with a 48MP primary sensor by an official return. From a design point of view, the teardrop-shaped notch will most likely remain at the front of both Note models, but the back will undergo some transformations with new gradients, as the picture also shows.

Meanwhile, Redmi shows the 64MP Note 8 Pro's camera chops on social media by posting a photo showing the powerful 25x sensor zoom yesterday. And if the quality of the image is good, consider us very interested. Redmi has already confirmed many features, including a 4,500 mAh battery, game accessories, better gaming connectivity, liquid cooling and more.

The launch will take place on August 29 in China soon after, we expect a launch in India.
