The state of Ohio officially arrived in New Orleans.
The Buckeyes touched down at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans at 4:12 p.m. PT Thursday afternoon, just over 24 hours before Friday’s college football playoff semi-final at Sugar Bowl (8 p.m., ESPN) vs. Clemson, arrived in New Orleans. Wednesday.

When asked if the state of Ohio would have all of its starters for Friday night’s game, Day did not respond directly – instead, noting that players who had been cleared to make the trip might not necessarily be allowed to play yet because of the Big Ten 17. day protocol – but said “the plane is a little fuller than a week ago.”
