COLUMBUS, Ohio – The state of Ohio has not disclosed how many players or staff have tested positive for the coronavirus since an increase in cases occurred last week.
The only confirmed case is coach Ryan Day. Making his weekly appearance on the Ryan Day Show on 97.1 The Drive, Day said the Buckeyes would be “a little shorthanded” at Michigan State on Saturday.
The state of Ohio hasn’t even provided vague updates on its test results since the hiatus last week. Day, however, said the entire team had undergone days of negative polymerase chain reaction tests.

Day said the Ohio State traveling team will take a test at 8 p.m. Friday night and then travel to East Lansing for a night before Saturday’s game.
