Justin Fields is still fighting to try to save the Ohio State season.
A day after launching a petition on MoveOn.com which has already received more than 220,000 signatures calling on the Big Ten to “immediately restore the 2020 football season” while allowing players and teams to make their own choices of playing or to retire, Fields appeared on ESPN Radio’s Keyshawn, JWill & Zubin Monday morning to discuss why he feels so confident in pushing Ohio State to have the opportunity to play this fall.

Even though Fields is already slated to be a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, he’s still struggling to play another season with the Buckeyes this fall due to his love of the game.
“My love for college football and my love for my Ohio State teammates. I saw the guys recover from their injuries and saw how hard our coaches fought for us to play, so really just for them, and just my love for the game, ”said Fields.
Fields said he’s not sure it’s really hit him and his teammates yet that the Big Ten have postponed their season, but that it will if they are stuck at home this fall and other conferences are being played.
