Volatility is accentuating on oil markets after a strong rally in 2019, resulting in a decline in portfolio managers on less risky investments in a sector that many investors still consider to be very popular.
US crude fell 0.9% on Monday before closing slightly higher. Monday's fluctuations followed a nearly 3% tumble on Friday, the biggest drop in oil on a day of the year, after prices reached their highest level in six months.
