OK, the first episode of Hannah Brown was not so bad

ABC had mixed reactions (to put it mildly) when Hannah Brown was introduced for the first time as a Bachelorette this season. After a difficult season as a competitor on The single person (see: Toastgate), viewers were unsure whether Hannah B. would be up for the challenge of being the star of the franchise products.

Things started to improve during the "Women Tell All" episode of the Colton Underwood season. Our current Bachelorette was posed, well spoken and confident. It became easier to imagine in the lead role. Then the final of the Colton season was aired and Hannah B. had the opportunity to meet some suitors and try her bachelor shoes. It was hard to watch. It was a disaster. The faith of the viewers had won in Hannah B. after the disappearance of "Women Tell All" faster than what one could say "rising tide".

So everyone was a little worried at the entrance to Hannah B.'s first night at the mansion, including Bachelor Nation. Rachel Lindsay told Us Weekly that Hannah Brown was not her first choice. Corinne Olympio said, "There is nothing that could make me look like. I have to see her on TV. I need to see her find love. "As if she was not someone to whom I looked like," I want her to find love. "on Instagram that he thinks Hannah B. will prove that everyone is wrong, and Kaitlyn Bristowe thinks that everyone should step back a bit.

But the first episode came and went and nothing too bad happened. We might all have made a collective "Oh, do you like it, God no" during some of Hannah B.'s introductory pictures. "Not knowing what to do with [her] hands, "but that seemed to be the worst.

Aside from the intimate picture of her prayer to God for trust and patience, she did not seem too nervous. In fact, Colton seemed more nervous on his first night at the mansion when he was single.

Half and Katie to the rescue

In an atypical movement for people to The single person/bacheloretteFormer competitors Burnett and Katie Morton made their appearance on Hannah Brown's first night. Not only were they there to sniff a rat (they helped reveal a man on the show with a girlfriend), but they were also there to help Hannah B. to feel comfortable when of his first night.

"Hannah was good friend with them, so there was a specific reason for them to be there. It was something we had trouble thinking about how we were going to tackle the situation. So we thought, "Let's get two of her friends to pick her up and be there for her." It was a very good change and a good mix, "said Chris Harrison at the Hollywood Reporter.

Half and Katie might have helped Hannah B. keep her cool, but she did all the hard work alone. She even managed a little drama (the candidate with his girlfriend, Scott) without Chris Harrison. We think that she surprised not only America but maybe even herself how well she did.

We think Hannah Brown won a lot of people last night.

According to the preview presented for the upcoming season, Hannah B. seems to continually express her needs and defend herself. She seems, as promised, raw and totally herself.
