Makai Lemon, a five-star athlete and the 33rd overall player in the 2023 class, announced live on CBS Sports HQ on Saturday that he would continue his football career in Oklahoma. Lemon picked the Sooners over the other finalists USC, Alabama, Arizona and Arizona State.

Lemon, a 6-foot, 180-pounder from Los Alamitos High School, Calif., Is a two-way player who shines as a cornerback and wide receiver. He has 100 catches for 1,540 yards and 14 offensive touchdowns, and caught eight passes and 40 total tackles on the defensive end of the ball in two seasons of practice.

Greg Biggins, National Recruitment Analyst for 247Sports, provided this scouting report on Lemon.

Lemon is the third player to enter Lincoln Riley’s 2023 recruiting class. These three prospects are ranked in the top 100 of the 247Sports team’s current recruiting rankings.
