Oklahoma Federal Judge Ordered New Owners Of Oklahoma Zoo Featured In Netflix Documentary “Tiger King” To Hand Over All Cubs And Tigers In Their Possession, As Well As The Mother Of Animals, To Government federal.

U.S. District Judge John F. Heil III issued the order last week in the case against Jeffrey and Lauren Lowe and the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Wildlife Park on the basis of alleged violations of the Endangered Species Act and the Animal Welfare Act.

Jeffrey Lowe’s attorney, Daniel Card of Oklahoma City, did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment.

The Lowes have taken over operations of the zoo, which was previously run by Joseph Maldonado-Passage – also known as Joe Exotic – and featured in Netflix’s “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness”.

Maldonado-Passage is serving a 22-year sentence in federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas, for his conviction for participating in a vicarious murder plot and violating federal wildlife laws. Maldonado-Passage has officially requested the pardon of outgoing President Donald Trump.
