"Old Town Road" Lil Nas X was a Tweetdecker

Since her country song "Old Town Road" has taken off, Lil Nas X has been catapulted to fame.

As the New York report reported for the first time, the rapper has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers via Twitter's forbidden practice.

The Tweetdecking, which BuzzFeed News reported for the first time, involves artificially inflating Twitter engagement via mass retweetings and other coordinated efforts.

According to the New York magazine, Lil Nas X managed the now suspended account @nasmaraj, which operated as a Nicki Minaj fan account and also released a variety of viral baits, such as four-year video of a bus monitor victim of intimidation.

In 2017, the account revealed that he had organized a party with his dog "and that no other owners have come forward with their dogs". Obviously, he became massively viral. In fact, BuzzFeed News even wrote about it at the time.

The tweet, of course, was not true. There was no Doug the dog, and no bad dog party.

Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, told BuzzFeed News that his name was Nasiir Williams at the time. He said that he was 17 years old and lived in Atlanta, which was true of the rapper who would soon become famous.

"Williams" said that he had had the idea of ​​the story of "Paw Paw" and that on the sad pit bull, and that he had found the pictures on Google . He said to have posted it because he "was really bored someday".
