With The NPD Group releasing an updated list of the best-selling games from this generation of consoles in the US, it's no surprise that Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V game remains one of the most downloaded games. Sony has revealed the best PS4 downloads of June in the United States and, although GTA V is at the top of the list, the 2K Sports NBA 2K19 reigns supreme on the platform.
Sony posted the list on the US PlayStation blog. The NBA 2K19 – which was on sale for $ 3 at the E3 2019 – ranks first in June, while Marvel's Spider-Man follows in second place and GTA V follows in third. One of July's free PS Plus titles, Detroit: Becoming Human, ranks in sixth position. God of War and Days Gone complete the list of PS4 respectively in the ninth and tenth.
The European PlayStation blog has unveiled its own list, with Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled ranking first and Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition taking control of number two.
On PlayStation VR, Five Nights at Freddy VR: Help Wanted ranks first in June in the United States. Superhot VR and Beat Saber are closely behind, second and third, respectively. The launch title of the virtual reality helmet, PlayStation VR Worlds, comes in seventh. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood closes the PSVR list to the tenth.
Sony has also included free titles in the list of the most downloaded downloads on PS4. Dauntless, which was launched in May after a one year open beta, takes first place in June. One of the most played battle royals, Fortnite, and one of the most innovative battle royals, Apex Legends, follow just behind, respectively second and third. Warframe is in ninth place. H1Z1: Battle Royale is tenth on the free side.
