Former press secretary of the White House Sean Spicer would have refused a place on Dance with the stars in 2017, citing an "overwhelming number of commitments in the fall". These agenda items appear to have been fulfilled, as ABC announced on Wednesday that Spicer would join Karamo Brown, Christie Brinkley, and James Van Der Beek the new DTWS season, which will begin on September 16th.

Spicer has been facing a more difficult path to leading a post-White House life than many press secretaries.
