Several people were shot and one was fatally injured as a result of multiple shootings in Nevada over Thanksgiving.
Police found five victims with gunshot wounds after receiving multiple calls from various locations in Henderson, Nevada on Thursday evening, according to the Henderson Police Department.
“The suspects are believed to have been driving around town shooting at random citizens for no apparent reason,” the department said in a press release.
Four surviving victims aged 18 to 53 were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive their injuries. A 22-year-old man was found dead at the scene from a gunshot wound, police said.
The suspects, who were not named by law enforcement, were described as a white woman in her twenties and a white man in her twenties or thirties.
Both have reportedly been tattooed or painted on their faces and police say the suspects have been located and taken into custody by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
An investigation into the shootings is open and active. The investigation would mark the 13th homicide investigation in the city for 2020.
