OnePlus is one of the few companies to have released a beta version of Android 10 around the same time that Google launched the new operating system earlier this month. Fortunately, the company has not taken too long to integrate the final version of some of its flagship smartphones.
The Chinese mobile phone manufacturer is currently rolling out the highly anticipated OxygenOS 10.0 update based on Android 10 for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. You will find below the main new features and improvements, but for more details, check out the OnePlus forum post.
System
- Upgrading to Android 10
- New design of the user interface
- Improved location permissions for privacy
- New customization feature in settings allowing you to choose which icon shapes to display in quick settings
Gestures in full screen
- Added swipes in from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
- Adding a lower navigation bar to allow toggling left or right for recent applications
Play area
- The new Game Space feature now brings all your favorite games together in one place for easier access and a better gaming experience.
Smart display
- Smart information based on specific times, places, and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Smart Display)
Message
- It is now possible to block keyword spam for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings – Block Settings)

If you're using an older OnePlus smartphone, you're probably wondering when you'll be able to update it. According to OnePlus, more details on its Android 10 packages will be revealed on October 10 when the company planned the launch events of OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro.
