OnePlus 7: rumors, price, release date, specifications and everything else

[ad_1]

Although it is expected to be in the spring, probably as early as May 14, rumors about the OnePlus 7 phone have already begun to circulate. As the future flagship product of Chinese phone manufacturer OnePlus, this device will serve as a successor to OnePlus 6T and should be the first of two high-end phones that OnePlus should launch this year. Since 2014, the year of the launch of the first OnePlus One, OnePlus has carved a reputation as a manufacturer of phones with premium features at an affordable price. But its strategy (and success) of offering features similar to those of iPhone and Galaxy S devices, while maintaining low prices, hardens every year. Compared to other brands, OnePlus has one of the biggest cost increases from model to model.

OnePlus usually launches its first phone in the spring, followed by a progressively upgraded phone called "T version" in the fall. It will also be free a 5G phone, distinct from its flagship line, in May.

Confirmed: there will be no wireless charge

The CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau, confirmed during an interview at MWC 2019 that the next OnePlus will not have a wireless charge. Citing the OnePlus Dash Charging technology, Lau said wireless charging would not be as fast.

"OnePlus refill is one of the best," Lau said through an interpreter. "The wireless charge is far lower."

This does not mean that the company is not working on it. Overheating is one of the biggest problems with technology. In the meantime, Lau said that there was no specific date on which you can expect a OnePlus phone with wireless charging.

It's going to be fast and smooth & # 39;

April 17, the CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau posted a tweet that everything but involves the OnePlus 7 be there soon. Although Lau and the GIF that he included in the tweet do not mention the name of the OnePlus 7, this is strongly suggested through the phone's animation and lighting. Lau said the company "will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth" and will emphasize the "fluidity" of the device.

There could be a "Pro" version.

Assumed Images of a Future OnePlus Phone were disclosed on April 11 on the Chinese social networking site Weibo. A photo showed the edge of the phone, which looks like the one seen on Samsung phones upscale, and another list of key hardware specifications. It's hard to know if the photos represent the future OnePlus 7 or the next OnePlus 5G phone, because the device name shown is "OnePlus 7 Pro". It could be a more "premium" version of the OnePlus 7, or what the company will call its 5G device.

If these photos are accurate (and we took them with a big grain of salt since OnePlus declined to comment), regardless of the phone, there could be no front camera at the front of the camera. ;screen. It could also have thin frames, a 6.7-inch screen, a Snapdragon 855 processor and 8GB of RAM.

He could launch May 14

A serial leak and Twitter user, OnLeaks, reported that OnePlus may have owned launch event on May 14. In addition to publishing two images of OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, OnLeaks also tweeted a few specifications. The OnePlus 7 would have a 6.4-inch flat screen and a dual rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel lens. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 7 Pro would have 5G connectivity and a curved screen of 6.64 inches. There will also be a front camera pop-up and a triple rear camera equipped with an ultra-wide lens (to learn more about these specific rumors below).

Possible $ 569 price tag, rear triple camera

Onleaks also posted Essential specifications of the OnePlus 7 as well as a price of $ 569. Specifications include a 6.5 inch screen, a Snapdragon 855 chipset, two storage options, a 4000 mAh battery and Android 9.0 Pie.

He could have a selfie camera pop-up

A supposed leakage image of OnePlus 7 and a phone case was posted by SlashLeaks, showing a cutting hole on the top edge of the holster. This would suggest that the next phone might have a pop-up camera, similar to Vivo Nex and Oppo F11 Pro.

This is consistent with previous online renderings that show the phone with a contextual selfie shooter and the aforementioned triple-back camera. Curiously, however, previous models do not show any notch for the front camera (which makes sense since the camera has moved inside the phone). But on the reported picture and phone that leaked, the OnePlus 7 is seen with a notch shaped like a water drop for a camera.
