  • Renderings of the OnePlus 9 Pro have leaked.
  • The phone is expected to feature a curved screen and a quad camera setup.
  • The design seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 8 Pro and the OnePlus 8T.

The OnePlus 9 series is set to launch in mid-March 2021, but it doesn’t escape leaks too well, it seems. After renders of the vanilla OnePlus 9 released earlier this month, popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer has now posted alleged renders for the OnePlus 9 Pro on Voice.

The leaker claims the renderings belong to a prototype of the phone, but says a large majority of that design is set in stone. That said, you can expect some changes in the OnePlus 9 Pro final unit hitting the market.

Unlike the flat screen we saw on OnePlus 9 renderings, the OnePlus 9 Pro would adopt a 6.7-inch curved display, just like the OnePlus 8 Pro. The phone even has a punch hole in the far left corner of the screen, just like its predecessor.

The biggest design change on the OnePlus 9 Pro appears to be an array of Note 20-style rectangular cameras on the back. The OnePlus 8T and the new Nord phones also have similar rear camera housings, so the design isn’t too far off from OnePlus.

Hemmerstoffer claims the phone includes up to four camera sensors on the back. Two of those four are encased in “huge” metal rings that protrude slightly from the camera hump.

Unfortunately, the leaker does not provide any details on the specifications of the camera.

Elsewhere, the OnePlus 9 Pro displays the speakers at the bottom. The alert slider and power button are visible on the right of the device, while the volume rocker is on the left. You can browse the renderings by tapping on the images above.
