OnePlus has come a long way from its original smartphone in 2014. In 2020 alone, the company released six different smartphone models, and to launch 2021, another budget phone is on the way in the form of the OnePlus. North SE.

Android Central reports that the OnePlus Nord SE will launch in the first quarter of 2021, adding another smartphone budget to the company’s range. For those keeping track, this would be the fourth low-budget smartphone the company released in less than a year after Nord, Nord N10 and Nord N100.

What’s new with this latest version? The OnePlus Nord SE is mostly a mystery at this point, but there are a few known details already. On the one hand, the SE would use an AMOLED display, a clear upgrade to the LCD panel that we don’t like too much in the Nord N10 5G. Along with that, this latest version is expected to include a 4,500mAh battery and support for Warp Charge 65 with a full charge in 40 minutes.

Unfortunately, this model will not be directed to the United States if this report turns out to be correct. On the contrary, the OnePlus Nord SE will only be sold in the EU and India.

A specific release date is unknown for this device as well as its price, but from the look of things, OnePlus could debut this device alongside the OnePlus 9 series, which is set to launch in March.
