HEB has announced that 1,500 trucks are en route across the state making daily deliveries of product to restock store shelves – but it could take some time.
Many local shoppers are always on the hunt for groceries and say their choices are quite limited.
Shoppers like Salvador Cavazos said they had benefited from two different stores on several occasions, but were still unable to put everything on their list.
But he’s not worried, adding that the shelves had more products on his last visits.
“Keep calm, what else are we going to do?” Salvador Cavazos said: “These are serious issues that take time to resolve.”
In a statement, HEB urges customers to buy only what they need and to think of their Texas neighbors and compatriots during this time.
