Today, during the second day of the Final Fantasy Fan Festival in Tokyo, Square Enix has made a series of announcements regarding Final Fantasy XIV Online, including the start date of the crossover event. of the game with Final Fantasy XV.

The crossover event, previously announced, is called A Nocturne For Heroes and begins April 16th. This news was confirmed during a behind-the-scenes event titled "Producer Letter" starring producer Naoki Yoshida. The event brings a number of equipment and items from Final Fantasy XV to FFXIV, including the very first four – player support of the game. You guessed it, the mount is the Regalia, which is the car that the main characters drive in FFXV. Other items include FFXV-themed equipment and a game hairstyle.

In addition, Square Enix has confirmed that Patch 4.56 of Final Fantasy XIV, entitled "A Requiem for Heroes Part 2", will be released very soon. It should be published Tuesday, March 26th. new global visiting system, to be launched on 23 April.
