Only Doug Marrone Could Stop Gardner Minshew's Growing Legend

Today's game between the Texans and the Jaguars was not entertaining, and the Jaguars from the quarterback and the character of a Gardner Minshew country song were not so great for most of the match . But in the last two minutes, as his team led 13-6, Minshew decided to put the guys on his back and try to win the win.

Minshew was great in the last possession of the game by his team, leading him on a 14-part drive including this rush of the 4th and 10th for a first try:

Then he finished the race with this touchdown pass:

This left Jags head coach Doug Marrone the choice of handing the ball into Minshew's hands and letting his golden boy score the winning point of the conversion, or giving Minshew an extra point to allow to lead his team which would surely have been a spectacular player winning in overtime. Marrone somehow decided that none of these options suited her and handed the ball over to Leonard Fournette, who was drunk at the goal line.

At least we can rest knowing that, in another dimension, Minshew fell back on this game, scrambled, broke six or seven tackles and then made his way into the end zone.
