EUGENE – The first football match in 2019 will be in prime time.

Oregon and Auburn will kick off the classic Advocare at 4:30 pm. August 31, AT & T stadium in Arlington, Texas, broadcast on ABC Football.

The Ducks and Tigers should both be ranked in a match that will undoubtedly stage the best offensive and defensive lines of the country.

This will be the first team rally since the 2011 BCS National Championship game, which Auburn won 22-19 in Glendale, Arizona. Oregon is 5-7 against SEC teams.

This is the sixth time ABC's Saturday Night Football has opened the season since AT & T. One of those previous visits was when No. 3 Oregon lost to No. 4 LSU, 40-27, to open the 2011 season.

Oregon made a 1-1 draw on ABC last season, lost to Stanford in overtime on Saturday night and beating Washington in overtime in an afternoon game broadcast in one part of the country via ESPN2.

Auburn is 23-33-1 of all time in ABC's game shows, including a win over Washington in last season's Chick-fil-A kickoff. The UA is also 9-3 against the Pac-12 teams, including a 6-0 mark in neutral matches.
