Oregon shooting at county fair leaves two injured, two suspects in custody: police

A shootout at the Lane County Fair in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday afternoon left two people injured with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

the Eugene Police Department also said they had two suspects in custody. The shooting took place around 4:00 p.m. PT.

A video posted on Twitter appears to show a man telling someone to put a gun away.

Another video posted to Facebook showed hundreds of people walking out of the fair after the shooting.

The Lane County Fair, which started Wednesday and continues through Sunday, said on Facebook around noon it “expected large crowds throughout the day.”
