Orton has reason to be confident about WWE title rematch with McIntyre

[ad_1]

For the first time in three weeks *, Gross did not end with Randy Orton who got the drop on Drew McIntyre last night (November 9).

Is that a bad sign for the WWE Champion now that he knows McIntyre will get a rematch next Monday? While I’m not sure I would agree with the WWE Web Team calling this a “guarantee,” the Viper seems very confident …

He is probably right. In the real world, reports continue to say Vince McMahon’s Plan A for WrestleMania 37 is to have Orton defend the title against Edge next March. And in the storyline, I think Sheamus may be harboring resentment against his friend Drew for continuing to take down his team idea.

Plus, I hope and believe that McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns is something WWE wants to save for a moment bigger than a no-build ‘brand supremacy’ match. Survivor Series.

Let us know what you think of Orton’s chances of coming out victorious on November 16 in the comments below.

* Unless you are in Canada. Then it’s only the first time in two weeks.
