Oscar de la hoya Obviously feels great after his COVID hospital stay – about 7 days after the incident, he was putting his lungs to work… with movie-themed karaoke.
The boxing champion was in Pasadena last Wednesday, hitting a place called the Der Wolf bar for some evening show tunes … where he went up to the mic to sing “Shallow” – yes, the Lady Gaga song from “A Star is Born”.
In the video obtained by TMZ, you can see ODLH reading the lyrics on the monitor and singing the second verse (the Gaga part) … with the bar visitors eagerly helping him. Looks like a crowd favorite! It moves a bit as it goes – but still continues well.
Hi guys, i got out of the hospital. I stayed there for 3 days. COVID really touched me. I was in the best shape of my life and can’t wait to get back in the ring. Thank you very much for all your best wishes and all your support. I appreciate it. pic.twitter.com/9XIKfKpDf6

@OscarDeLaHoya
It’s a 180 from what Oscar was doing just a week and changing before – when he was hospitalized for a few days for a nasty fight with COVID … which kept him from fighting Vitor Belfort, and demanding Evander Holyfield intervene (and get TKO).
Obviously Oscar is doing great after that… and maybe this exit means he’ll be back in the ring ASAP. Assuming he no longer gets sick, that is, in an environment without a mask (like this one).
Stay safe there, man!
