Overwatch is preparing to celebrate its third birthday

[ad_1]

Overwatch is three years old this summer and, according to tradition, will be celebrating this date with a three-week anniversary event that will bring back all the fights and loot of the past.

The Overwatch Anniversary event will begin May 21st and continue until June 10th. During this period, you will be able to win new skins, dances, sprays and other objects. You will also be able to recover all the seasonal spoils of previous years. Just to log in during the event, you will receive a bonus, a legendary loot box, and players who purchase 50 loot boxes during the celebration will receive another free birthday safe.

New items include six new legendary skins and three new epic skins, as well as new dance emotes for Baptiste, Ashe and Wrecking Ball.

If you do not know Overwatch yet, you're in luck – Blizzard also runs a free trial period for the game during his birthday celebrations. You can play for free from 21 to 28 May, during which you can play the full game and win the same cosmetics for your birthday.

The official Overwatch account tweeted the announcement today:

The three heroes who receive new dance emotes – Wrecking Ball, Ashe and Baptiste – have all been introduced in the past year. Wrecking Ball has recently received a new introduction that pays homage to Dramatic Chipmunk, famous on the Internet.

Once again, once the event is on-line, you'll be able to find the seasonal beauty products, and some of them have been quite iconic, like last year's Soldier 76's daddy BBQ skin. It's a good reason to return to the blizzard-based shooter.
