MASON, Ohio – Procter & Gamble unveiled Wednesday its new and improved Mason Business Center – and much larger -.

The building, which now houses 2,800 P & G workers, is the largest research and development center in the world, surpassing Singapore's R & D facilities. P & G spent $ 400 million to expand the center.

After more than three years of construction, the installation is three times larger. It is now 2 million square feet, twice as large as the Kenwood Towne Center, a Cincinnati shopping center.

The construction was completed earlier this year and marks the completion of P & G's consolidation of its former Sharon Woods Innovation Center on the enlarged Mason site. On March 1st, P & G left the old Blue Ash facility.
