The Green Bay Packers added depth to the offensive line ahead of Thursday night's pre-season final, signing former Chicago Bears goaltender Dejon Allen.
Allen was not detached from Hawaii in 2018 but spent the entire season on the Bears training team.
The Packers welcomed Allen, who made 49 college starts, for an official pre-project tour before the 2018 project.
The 6-2, 300-pounder ran less than five seconds in the 40-yard scorecard, placed 30 reps on the bench press and completed three-cone training in 7.5 seconds on the professional day. Hawaii. Allen also has experience as a left-liner, making 24 starts at the student position.
The Bears released Allen in May of this year.
