The Green Bay Packers welcome Ole Miss's offensive tackle, Greg Little, on an official pre-project tour Monday.
Little went to Green Bay on Sunday and was at Lambeau Field on Monday, according to his Instagram account.
The Packers also met Little (6-5, 310) at the NFL scouting group in Indianapolis.
The first rookie out of high school, Little started 29 games as a left tackler in three seasons and was a two-time All-SEC for Ole Miss. He declared for the NFL draft after his junior season.
Pro Football Focus told Little that it allowed only one bag, two hits and nine quick passes in 464 assists to block passes last season, though it was less than the average as a race blocker. He also committed a single sentence.
The number of tests from Little to the combine fell well below expectations. He ran the scorecard 40 yards in 5.33 seconds, produced marginal results in the vertical (25 ") and wide (113") jumps and completed the short shuttle in 4.74 seconds.
NFL.com's Lance Zierlein compared Duane Brown, left-winger in Houston, to Little against Pro Bowl, while Matt LaFleur was an offensive quality control assistant under Kyle Shanahan.
"Little has the important combination of size, length, and speed as a left-wing prototype perspective," wrote Zierlein. The Packers could see Little as a potential answer for the future against David Bakhtiari. Its size, pass blocking abilities, and ability to execute in a zone layout could all be attractive attributes for Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst.
