Darnell Savage became the 21st pick in the repechage, but the first to accept the terms with his new team.

Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports that the Packers got security in Maryland on Thursday.

Green Bay won nine places in an exchange with the Seahawks to select Savage last week, with the intention of pairing him with Adrian Amos in the back of his second. Savage is expected to play security for free.

Tramon Williams is back in the corner this season.

Savage ran a 4.36 in the 40-yard dash, although he was in the under under 5-11.

In four seasons in Maryland, he has collected 182 tackles, nine tackles for the loss, one sack, eight interceptions and 13 missed passes.
