GREEN BAY – Aaron Rodgers will host a future episode of “Jeopardy,” the Packers quarterback confirmed on Tuesday in his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

“One of my idols growing up was Alex Trebek,” Rodgers told McAfee. “They are doing a few spots to welcome guests. It will be coming out here very soon but I had the opportunity to be a part of it.… I am excited about the opportunity.”

Rodgers, a longtime big fan of the game show, emerged victorious from his “Celebrity Jeopardy!” appearance in 2015, earning a donation of $ 50,000 to his charity of choice, the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer).

Rodgers beat out “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary and retired astronaut Mark Kelly on the episode.

“Jeopardy” has a series of guests as its host after Trebek passed away in November.
