Packers-Rams injury report: Cooper Kupp questionable, Aaron Donald ready to play

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Rams held a practice session to start preparing for Saturday’s game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. If they had practiced, however, all-round defensive lineman Aaron Donald would not have participated, according to their injury report.

Even on Wednesday, when the Rams held real practice with three days to go, Donald wasn’t on the pitch. This went a bit against some comments he made to the media that suggested he was ready to go and saw him express his frustration with all the attention being paid to his injury:

On Thursday, however, as the teams held their final practice of the week, Donald was on the field for the Rams. Most notably, Donald does not have injury status on the official injury report, indicating that he will play – even if he is under 100% – in Saturday’s game.

Less certain, however, are the statuses of a few other key Rams players. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp and left guard David Edwards are both questionable for Saturday’s game, while quarterback John Wolford – who started last Saturday in the Wild Card round – is out, to be replaced by Jared Goff in the starting formation.

As for the Packers, the week off did them a lot of good on the health front. Only one player appears with injury status this week. It’s defensive lineman Kingsley Keke, who doubts a concussion. Otherwise, everything is on deck for Saturday, provided the team does not have additional positive COVID-19 tests by kick-off.
