The Jordan Love era is on.
Love, the 2020 Packers first-round pick and heir to franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers, saw his regular season opener in the fourth quarter today as Rodgers was pulled out in a disastrous game against the Saints.
Rodgers had completed 15 of 28 passes for 133 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions, and the Packers were trailing 38-3 when Love entered the game.
Given all of the offseason drama in Green Bay, there will be plenty of questions as to whether Rodgers is happy to be pulled late into the blowout. He certainly can’t be happy with the way he played today.
