GREEN BAY, Wisconsin – Semi-Offensive Jamaal Williams was pulled out after a hard blow after being hit hard in the first quarter of Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The third-year professional was immediately rushed by ambulance to a local hospital where he was assessed for injuries to the head and neck, reported ESPN's Michele Steele. The Packers announced that Williams had movement and sensations in all its extremities.
Williams was injured in the first game of the Packers game, a pass to the screen, when he was immediately met at the line of scrimmage by linebacker Nigel Bradham. With his momentum coming to an end, Williams took a big hit by Eagles defender Derek Barnett.
Barnett was penalized for his useless harshness on the game.
Williams lifted his left arm and motioned with a thumbs up while he was out of the field by three members of the Packers medical team.
Williams, who started the game in the backcourt alongside his compatriot Aaron Jones, was already in the injury report this week due to a neck injury, but he took part in Wednesday's full practice.
Jones completed the first practice with a 3-yard touchdown to give the Packers a 7-0 lead on a training featuring the Packers' longest offensive game of the season – a 58-yard Aaron pass Rodgers to Davante Adams.
The Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga injured his shoulder in the first half and it was questionable to return. He stayed outside to start the second half and was replaced by Alex Light.
