Pamela Anderson has been accused of being a ‘tow truck’ after allegedly stealing her new man from another woman and breaking up a happy family of five.
The model and actress is accused of seducing handyman Dan Hayhurst – whom she married on Christmas Eve – while he worked on his property in the Canadian town of Ladysmith and was in a relationship with another wife.
The former Baywatch star, 53, announced on Wednesday that she had married her ‘bodyguard’ Dan, 40, in what was her sixth marriage, to her fifth husband, saying: ” I am exactly where I need to be – in the arm of a man who loves me.
But Dan’s heartbroken ex-Carey, who has lived with him and raised two children for five years, recounted how she was blinded by the affair and knew nothing about their marriage until she read some online.
She said the couple started dating early last year – when she and Dan were still together – before he finally moved from their shared home to go to Pam’s house in July.
Carey, 42, said: “It’s not the lockdown love story that’s portrayed, it’s a facade.
“I decided to speak up because I want people to know that my almost five-year relationship, with three children involved, ended because of the affair that Pam and Dan started while he was still with me.
“It’s sad that people are celebrating and encouraging this, when it started with deception, denials and overwhelming choices for everyone involved.
Worm turned
“It wasn’t this romance that happened overnight. He worked with her for over six months before all of this happened.
“He wasn’t her bodyguard at the time, he’s a handyman, she hired him to work on her house.
“We were all totally blinded by it, it was so difficult for us. And it’s not just me and the kids, a lot of people have been hurt by them. Dan lost his friendships and business connections because of it.
Carey, mom-of-one, from Vancouver Island, and Dan, then single dad, met after meeting on a dating app, and she moved with him to the mainland in Squamish, a town north of Vancouver, helping to raise her two young children.
The couple then moved to Vancouver Island for a fresh start about four years ago.
She said, “We did everything together like family vacations, family fishing trips, we worked together on family projects. It was always us.
But their happy lives would change forever after Dan was hired as a building contractor to renovate Pamela’s five-acre home in Ladysmith.
He started working there in early fall 2019, soon complaining to Carey about Pamela’s “insanity” and how difficult and demanding she was to work.
In a text shared with The Sun, he wrote: “The dragon is out! Talk about Pam.
In January 2020, Pamela “married” film producer Jon Peters before splitting with him two weeks later, claiming it was never a real marriage.
Carey said, “I would say, ‘What are you doing? You must quit this job. It’s crazy’. There was the crazy passage when she married this guy Jon Peters for two weeks.
“She told all the entrepreneurs that she was getting married the day before, so when I saw the news, I texted Dan.
“He responded by saying, ‘Hahaha, he’s older than his father, but I think our money problems are over,’ which he meant because the guy is rich.
“I thought it was pretty ruthless of her. He really didn’t seem to get along with her at all.
Carey said things started to change at the end of March this year, with Dan spending more and more time away from home.
She continued, “The worm has turned. Covid happened and it seemed to happen overnight.
“Dan would stay at home and not come home, and here I take care of the children.
“At first he denied it when I confronted him, but then, eventually, I asked him, ‘Are you sleeping with Pam? He said, “All I’m going to say is, I crossed the line.”
“At first he said, ‘I want you to stay in our house. I don’t want you to go. I just need to figure things out ”.
“Later he apologized to me. He said, ‘Carey, I love you. I don’t know what’s going on right now. I’m not in my head right now. I am not in a good space ”.
“He asked me to give him time to figure things out, so I let him do what he was doing.
“And there was no going back by then. I had met Pam and had gone to dinner with her. My daughter worked for her. I couldn’t believe it.
Dan and Pamela’s relationship continued to develop and last July he left the house he shared with Carey and moved in with Pam.
One-sided story
Pam told an interviewer on Wednesday that she had been with Dan for a year, adding, “This year together has been like seven years, like dog years.”
Carey left the shared house after Dan, and it is currently for sale.
She claims he and Pam behave like teenagers, and said, “When he turned 40 last year, she bought him a boat.
“He’s broken his car three times now and his boat twice. It is a walking mess. They sit on their property drinking – it’s like Dan and Pam’s show.
Pam claims that she and Dan were blessed with all their family and friends for their wedding, but Carey disputes this, saying, “No one was invited to the wedding.
“He texted his mother the day before the ceremony and he said, ‘I’m getting married tomorrow, keep this on the DL and say nothing.’
“And she didn’t answer. As if she obviously respected him because he was her son, but she was not invited. It doesn’t even look like a real wedding. Everything seems so controlled.
She added, “He can be very manipulative, so in a way they’re made for each other, but I don’t see that lasting. I would be very surprised.
“Dan and I never got married because I never want to.
“For me, it’s nothing, it’s a piece of paper and it causes problems when you want to get out.
“And he told me, ‘I’ll never get married again’. And then here we are, six or eight months or whatever they are in their relationship and they’re married.
“I’m just thinking, ‘Wow, who are you? Who is the man I was with for five years? None of this makes sense.
Carey’s daughter Denise, 21, who worked as a worker at Pam, told The Sun that she found out about Dan’s relationship: “I was shocked when I heard about this.
“I just thought, ‘How can that even be a thing?’ I work here with them full time and had no idea.
“And the fact that he had a family, we were a blended family, he has two young children and obviously she’s a lot older.
“What was his thought process? What was going on in his mind?
“I was so shocked. It’s something so unreal, like something straight out of the movies. I can not believe. Everyone thinks it’s this locked-down love story and no one knows there was an affair and this family is involved.
“And I think the hardest part is people are fed this one-sided fairytale story when in reality there is so much more.
“It damaged the lives of a lot of people. It was really difficult for my mother.
“She fully mobilized and was a full-time mother to these children. It was hard to see her go through this.
“There was no rough patch or bad situation at home, things were just normal the entire time until it happened.
“Pam doesn’t have the best marriage record, for sure. So when Covid is over and she can start traveling again and so on, I really don’t see it working.

PAM married wild rocker Tommy in 1995 after knowing him for only 96 hours and had two children with him, Brandon and Dylan.
The couple broke up after Motley Crue drummer assaulted them and spent six months in jail. They divorced in 1998 but reunited briefly in 2008 before finally calling him back.
She got engaged to the rapper and musician in 2002, but they later broke up. But after getting back together, they married in 2006.
They separated later that year. Pam miscarried while the couple were married and they divorced shortly thereafter, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
IN 2007 Pam and professional poker player Rick married at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, but divorced ten weeks later, citing the usual “irreconcilable differences” and the marriage was then officially called off. They remarried in 2014 but divorced a second time in 2015.
Pam first dated the film’s producer over 30 years ago and they apparently got married in a secret ceremony in January 2020.
They split after 12 days, and the actress later said in an Instagram caption that they were “never legally married” and it was just a “weird theatrical lunch”.
