There is no doubt that the S1H will be the most advanced full frame mirrorless video camera, far ahead of anything Canon, Nikon and Sony offer. You will be able to record 5.9K 16: 9 videos at a maximum speed of 30 fps, which will give you more options to insert or crop a final 4K format. It can also take full-size 6K photos with a 3: 2 aspect ratio, and supports anamorphic movie targets just like the GH5.
Panasonic notes that the S1H is the first full-frame mirrorless camera in the world to support 10K 4K DCI video (4096 x 2160) at a maximum speed of 60 frames per second. However, this assertion is slightly doubtful, as the camera will crop 4K DCI video to a size equivalent to Super 35mm (approximately APS-C). Still, it seems to be the largest effective detection area on a mirrorless camera for 4K video at 60 fps, beating Panasonic's GH5 (4K to 60FPS at Micro Four Thirds) and Fujifilm's X-T3 ( 4K at 60 ips at APS-C with a harvest of 1.25x). However, it will shoot a 4K video at 30 frames per second using the entire sensor area, just like the S1.
The S1H will feature the ready-to-use V-Log / V-Gamut color modes, offering a dynamic range of over 14 stops, similar to the $ 20,000 + Cinema Varicam. Panasonic notes that the color management is the same as on the GH5 / GH5 and Varicam models. This will make it easy to mix and match your photos with all three cameras.
With the large sensor and 6K video, the S1H can heat up. Panasonic has therefore designed to dissipate heat better than the S1 / S1R. As such, it offers unlimited recording times, making it a good option for event videography.
There is still a lot we do not know about S1H, though. It is not known whether he will use a contrast-enhanced AF system such as the S1 and S1R, or will use a phase-detection hybrid system (the latter seems unlikely). Panasonic has not specified whether it will have internal stabilization or other functions available on the S1 / S1R, and has not even revealed the resolution of the sensor. It was said, however, that the camera would cost about $ 4,000 and arrive this fall.

Panasonic also revealed more details about the upcoming pay software upgrade for the Lumix S1. The "DMW-SFU2 Firmware Upgrade Key" for the camera will arrive in July and turn it into a much more impressive video camera. Once installed, the S1 will support 10: 4: 2: 2 internal and external recordings, which can be up to 60 ips. It will also unlock the V-Log / V-Gamut color modes with a resolution of 14+ measures, much like the S1H, which means that both cameras could share the same sensor.
You will also get a built-in LUT application to the camera to make 96 Hz audio more accurate with an optional XLR accessory and a display of the brightness level of the waveform. It will arrive in July, but Panasonic has still not indicated the price, which suggests to me that the price will be quite high.
Given the limited choice of L-mount lenses, Panasonic unveiled the 1.4x DMW-STC14 and 2x DMW-STC20 teleconverters. They will manufacture the Lumix S Pro 70-200mm F4 O.I.S. and upcoming models 70-200mm f / 2.8 a little more useful by doubling the focal length, turning them into super telephoto lenses, at the cost of a certain speed.
