CHARLOTTE – Robby Anderson came to Carolina and recorded the best numbers in his career, and now he has a chance to build on them for the future.

The Panthers have agreed to the terms of a two-year contract extension with the veteran wide receiver, who will keep him here throughout the 2023 season.

Anderson, 28, posted a career-high 95 catches for a career-high 1,096 yards last season. Originally an undrafted rookie from Temple (where he played for Panthers head coach Matt Rhule), Anderson spent his first four seasons with the Jets and was entering the final year of his current contract.

Now he has a chance to provide some stability on offense.
