CHARLOTTE – The Panthers used the seventh-round pick acquired during an exchange on Saturday to select Georgia receiver Terry Godwin.

The Panthers entered the project without a seventh round pick, having traded against the Bills before the start of the 2017 season against cornerback Kevon Seymour. Carolina took 237th overall in a deal with the Broncos, sending her sixth-round pick earlier (187) in exchange for Denver's (212) and the Broncos' seventh round. Carolina used her new sixth round on offensive tackle Dennis Daley.

Godwin has captured 133 passes for 1,788 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Bulldogs. He was selected by the Braves in the 33rd round of the 2015 Major League Baseball repechage.

Carolina started the first and third days of the repechage by hiring multi-purpose defensemen Brian Burns (first round) and Christian Miller (fourth round), before adding offensive midfielder Jordan Scarlett (fifth round). During the second day, the Panthers selected offensive tackle Greg Little (second round) and quarterback Will Grier (third round).
